The event was free to the public

The free event was designed to bring families and communities together for a day of fun and relaxation. Friends, family, neighbors and/or co-workers came to enjoy the park.   Free T-shirts, hot dogs and drinks were given to children.

There was an information center, vendor tents and food trucks. Live music began at 1pm. To keep everyone safe, FACE MASK were required, sanitizing stations were available and social distance practices were in place. There were 10 feet circles 10 feet apart on the lawn and no more than 10 people were in each circle.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

LIVE MUSIC

Live music began at 1pm and the following artists performed:
 
Jasmine LeShea (a local favorite), did a tribute to Aretha Franklin.
 
Willie Kitchen, Chattanooga’s own (sung with the Impressions and is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame)  performed some classics and old school music.

Sam Sims and the All Stars. Sam Sims, a Chattanooga native, is a professional bass player, music director and producer. Sam has performed with musical giants such as, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Dav Koz, Boney James, Michael Douglas; just to name a few. Sam was the music director for the second half of the live music. The All Star band consisted of other artists whose credentials were as impressive as Sam's credentials. Sam’s featured artists included Sara Hill and Kipper Jones.

Sera Hill was a contestant on Season 2 of the TV show, “The Voice”.  Sera sung some of your favorite Beyonce, Mary J Blige and Chaka Khan songs.


Kipper Jones, a legendary singer-songwriter from Atlanta, GA., has worked with Anita Baker, Teddy Pendergrass, Brian McKnight, Eric Clapton, Kenny Lattimore; just to name a few. He has written multi-platinum songs such as, Vanessa Williams (The Right Stuff), Brandy (I Wanna Be Down) and Kenny Lattimore (Never Too Busy); and other songs.  Kipper sung some favorite old and new school music.
